I file my contacts according to project. Lately, when sending an email, I
double-click on "To" to select names, but none of the names show up that I have put into files. In the "Show Names from the" pull-down menu, my only options are "Contacts" and "Outlook Address Book". The Contacts only shows names that I have not yet filed, and the "Outlook Address Book" comes up with the message "No entries in this Address Book". Some connection is just not being made between my email and my contacts. I am using MS Outlook 2003 SP2 |

Clarify what you mean by "I file my contacts according to project." The only
Contacts that will appear in the address book view are those with valid, resolved electronic addresses that are stored in a Contacts Folder that has been enabled as an email address book in its properties. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "Ivana" wrote in message ... Thanks for your help. For each project, in Contacts, I right-click to create
a new folder, give it the name of the project, and drag all my contacts for that project into that file. Why the files all of a sudden have the "show in the address book" unchecked is strange to me, but now I've fixed it.
