I have imported my address book from outlook 2003 to Outlook 2007 and when I
click the "to" button it doesn't show my contacts. The contacts show my people, but when I go to properties and "show this folder as an e-mail address book" box , I can't check the box. The writing is also not bright. I have tried all the help, and nothing seems to work. |

Hi Brandon,
in Outlook 2002 and 2003 you could delete the Outlook Aressbook and add it again. In Outlook 2007 is a "bug", you can not delete the Outlook Adressbook. In Outlook 2007 you must create a new E-Mail profile: How to create a new e-mail profile in Outlook 2007?: http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=829918 Maybe it helps. -- Oliver Vukovics Share your Outlook PST files without Exchange: Public ShareFolder Synchronisation for Outlook and Exchange: Public SyncTool http://www.publicshareware.com "Brandon Bert" Brandon schrieb im Newsbeitrag ... This is the exact problem that I am having with outlook 2003. When you say to
delete the outlook address book and add it again, what exactly do you mean? and how would you do this and not have to go through the process of manually adding all the contacts again? Thanks, Ken "Oliver Vukovics" wrote: Hi Brandon, in Outlook 2002 and 2003 you could delete the Outlook Aressbook and add it again. Hi Ken,
if you would delete the "Outlook Addressbook" (not the contact folder) you would not lost any contacts. The Outlook Addressbook is only a "filter" of your existing contacts. When you say to delete the outlook address book and add it again, what exactly do you mean? "Tools/E-Mail Accounts/Show existing Directories and Addressbooks" = Next Delete the Outlook Addressbook. Restart Outlook and add the Outlook Addressbook. "Tools/E-Mail Accounts/Show existing Directories and Addressbooks" = Next = Add = Outlook Addressbook.
