I am running Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2007, English version and
after I synced my T-mobile wing (which I have done several times before) My contacts disappeared. I put several new contacts in saved and closed, deleted the contacts from my phone, then hooked my phone up to sync. Afterward all of the contacts from my phone and outlook except for the 6 new contacts were gone. How can I restore contacts. Did a system restore that did not work and it will not undo the restore. I have not backed up the address book because we changed from XP to 07 last month and I just finished putting in the addresses today. The only two copies I had were on the phone and outlook 07. Outlook plays no part in synchronization. If you lost data via
synchronization, the loss is permanent. Restore the data from your most recent backup. If you have no backup, learn how to use a computer. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "Taci" wrote in message news ![]() I am running Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2007, English version and after I synced my T-mobile wing (which I have done several times before) My contacts disappeared. ![]() 1) your rude. 2) Outlook is why I sync (only reason) 3) loss not permanent, has been restored (if you knew how to use a computer you would know to look in the deleted files) 4) info just entered, ergo no backup yet (that has been resolved as well) "Taci" wrote: I am running Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2007, English version and after I synced my T-mobile wing (which I have done several times before) My contacts disappeared. Then synchronization did not cause the problem. When the user deletes data,
it goes to the Deleted Items Folder. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "Taci" wrote in message ... 1) your rude.
