How do I get the distribution list name only to show up in the "to" field and
not each individual member's name. For example - name of distribution list
is College Friends - and when each person receives the email, I want them to
see in the To field - College Friends - not the names of each person in that
list.

Can't be done. DL's must be expanded if you want the recipients to receive
the message.
If for some reason this is important to you, then you must create a bogus
Contact that carries the name of the DL, put that in the To: field, then BCC
your DL.
