THANKS A BUNCH!! I have searched for that multiple times and couldn't figure
out how to get it. "Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook]" wrote: By design. You can still add it in Tools Options Preferences Contact options: Do you see "Show Contact Linking on all Forms?" If so, select it. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "danef" wrote in message ... How do I add several contacts to an already created Journal entry. In Outlook 2003 there is a contact line at the bottom of the Journal entry. It seems absent in 2007. |

Hi Russ,
I have a similar but different problem. I've been using Journal as a phone log & I get a lot of calls (I'm a Volunteer Manager) from people NOT in my contacts. I used to be able to just put their names in the contact field (& not saving it in my contacts) & I can't do that anymore. I don't think your solution would work in my case. What can I do, or, if you don't think Journal is the right tool to use as a phone log, can you suggest what I can use instead? Thanks, Susan "Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook]" wrote: By design. Are you getting any errors when you try? if you enable the Contact linking
field, it should work just like it did in outlook 2003. The using journal is the best way to do what you need to do inside outlook. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com/ Outlook Tips by email: EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: How many email accounts are in your main Outlook profile? http://forums.slipstick.com/showthread.php?t=36602 "swoodhouse" wrote in message ...
