Default exporting vcard to vcard file

How do you edit a vcard in a vcard file? Is it necessary to go to
Outlook/Contacts open the contact, edit and then export and overwrite?

How is this a suggestion? Please don't flag a post as a suggestion when
it's clearly not.

The vCard is just a text file. Open it in Notepad and edit it.
