State how you are adding Contacts. State the precise error message. See if
you see anything in Event Viewer. Try starting Outlook in safe mode and see
if you can add Contacts.

Peculiarly, it will save edits, but cannot save any new contacts. I do

add contacts often, so if I did something, it may have been a while back.
