Default Transferring contacts

Hello everybody,

I am trying to transfer my contacts to my laptop. I burned a disk from
my PC which had the contacts and when I went to import it to my laptop
it says " access denied, do not have authority". My PC is on a network
I had set up but I fired the tech and now I don't know how to allow
this access. Anybody got any suggestions?

Default Transferring contacts

Rather difficult since you provided us with no information on what you
actually did. Your descriptions are so vague that they tell us nothing. I
would suggest reading the countless posts we make here on how to transfer
Outlook data correctly and post back with what you don't understand.
The file you need is your Personal Folders file (*.pst) It's where all the
mail, calendar, contacts etc are stored.
