I have a large distribution list that is listed in my Outlook. When I send
messages to this list, some email addresses are included that are not listed in my Distribution list. I have scoured the list and these email entries do not exist. What can I do to rid the Distribution list of these phantom emails. |

Specify precisely how you are sending the message.

I select the distribution list from Outlook in the "To" section of the email
message, write the message and press "Send." This activates Comcast's server to send the message. I us Comcast as My ISP. If you are selecting the DL from the To: field, then you are using
autocompletion. If so that's your problem. Delete the reference to the DL in the autocompletion cache. Run "Update Now" on the DL itself and select it from the Outlook Address Book when you create a message. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "Cribfreak" wrote in message ...
