Default case (upper or lower) of first letter of Category

Using Outlook 2007 - I want the view to ignore the case of first letter of
category - so that it will list categories in strict alphabetical order
rather than putting capitalised categories first and then lower case
categories. Any ideas?

You can't change how Outlook handles categories in that regard.

Are you sure the upper/lower cases are the only difference? Here sorting the
groups is just fine.
