Searching contact in Outlook 2007

I have a user that monitors three separate e-mail accounts on her computer.
When she does a search in one of their contacts folder, an error comes up
stating that a search cannot be completed while the mailbox is indexing. Yet,
there is not indication of an indexing going on. She is the executive
assistant to the CEO and a couple VP's. What can I check to get her to be
able to search for contacts?

The user is using Outlook 2007 in a Windows XP (Home edition, SP2)
environment. Any advice woud be appreciated.
