Hi there,
I try to create a DL on Outlook and select members from my Contacts. I see some names appear twice. One of them is with the e-mail type as Fax. Because the list is huge and I don't want to waste time to select the names one by one to skip the Fax type entries. However, there is no way to change the sorting order by e-mail type. Does anyone have a solution for that? Thanks a lot. Richard Poon |

Fax numbers are electronic address, so the Address Book view will always include them, if found. If you change the number so that Outlook cannot recognize it as a fax (for example, by prefixing it with the letter "F"), then it won't appear in the Address Book interface. -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook] |

Thanks, Brian, for your prompt response. I then need a way to create a batch
run on changing all fax no. field. Is there any simplified option to do so? Richard "Brian Tillman" wrote: Richard Poon wrote: I try to create a DL on Outlook and select members from my Contacts.
