When I try sending an outgoing email to a list, the name checker won't allow
it without manually adding every name to the contacts file. I have tried turning off the "name checker", but no luck yet. |

This is simply not true. Resolving names adds them to the autocompletion cache, which has nothing whatsoever to do with your Contacts folder. -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook] |

Are you running an Add-On software package that checks names? Maybe Plaxo or
something similar. Regards Judy Gleeson MVP Outlook Trainer and Consultant www.pragmatix.com.au My suggested settings for Outlook 2003 are FREE on my website. .. it doesn't make you add them to contacts but if the address is not formatted
correctly, it will come up and one of the options is to create a contact. Apparently you are creating the contact and it has the correctly formatted address in it. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Author, Teach Yourself Outlook 2003 in 24 Hours Need Help with Common Tasks? http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner/ Outlook 2007: http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/ol2007/ Outlook Tips by email: Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Subscribe to Exchange Messaging Outlook newsletter: ** Please include your Outlook version, Account type, and Windows Version when requesting assistance ** "bpelot" wrote in message ...
