I have come across an interesting problem with a single Vista workstation in
a network environment. Fault: When setting the view to categories for a contacts folder in public folders the views state is not saved when closing outlook. (This is usually saved on the last view when the application is closed) It can be changed but when jumping to a mail folder and back to the contacts .OU the view will revert back to business card format. Other outlook 2007 applications on the network behave as expected. Softwa Workstation: Vista - Office 2007 + BCM Server: SBS 2003 SP2 - Exchange 6.5 SP2 Any help that can be offered on this matter would be greatly appreciated. |

Thanks for time replying to my issue.
after posting this request for help further investigation turned up information about the cleanview switch but unfortunately it is not valid for outlook 2007 as far as i am aware it only works on 2003 versions. If your aware of the 2007 equivalent please let me know. I have uninstalled outlook and reinstalled but to no avail, next step is to remove the entire 2007 suite. the use off clean. In Outlook, enter the string "command line" in Help's search. It will show you all the command line switches that are available for your version. -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook] |
