You can mark Outlook contacts as private, but not individual fields.

![]() thanks russ, Sorry for being an outlook newbie, when he marks it as private, how does that work.I mean, will it ask for a password when he syncs outlook with his palm. Apparently that would happen when he used his palm application, but now he wants the same from outlook and i dont know too much about that side of outlook Thanks again for your assistance "Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook]" wrote: You can mark Outlook contacts as private, but not individual fields. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "David" wrote in message ... Not an Outlook question, I'm afraid. How various sync software handles the
"private" setting is solely within their purview, not Outlook's. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "David" wrote in message ... thanks russ, Sorry for being an outlook newbie, when he marks it as private, how does that work.I mean, will it ask for a password when he syncs outlook with his palm. Then he should use the security settings in the Palm to prevent unauthorized access in the event it gets lost or stolen. -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook] |
