Default Move data between fields?

I imported a CSV contact list into Outlook 2007. When mapping fields, I
didn't see a "Nickname" field, so imported that field to User 1. Is there any
way now to move that data from User 1 to Nickname in Outlook?

Thanks.

I don't believe the Nickname field is included by Outlook during either
import or export. Even if it were, the address resolution wouldn't use it
anyway so it would be fairly useless.

Since it can't be imported, can the data be moved from the User 1 field to
the Nickname field after importing? (Users don't use it for address
resolution. It's just for knowing what to call contacts when they call.)

Certainly manually. I imagine it can be done with VBA as well, but that's
outside my area of expertise. Try asking in
microsoft.public.outlook.program_vba
