Hey,
I have the same problem - had a harware failure but i have the intact \Application Data\Microsoft\ folder with all .pst files. I imported the .pst files however, i cant my address book. - these are all Outlook 2003 files form Office 2003 pro. - I have now installed Office 2007 Pro. Thanks. Much appreciated. "Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook]" wrote: Importing is never the correct way to transfer Outlook data. It's hard to know how much damage was done in your doing so done without your providing any details. You didn't even bother to post your Outlook versions. I would start by configuring your Outlook Address Book correctly. We'd tell you how, but without knowing your Outlook version, it's not possible to do so. Since we post that information almost every day, find a post that matches your version and read it. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "MsPurple" wrote in message ... I had to start fresh with a new hard drive and reinstalled Outlook. I finally got the correct file imported, but now the contacts cannot be found from within an email. All the contacts are there, but just not recognizeable in the "To" field of the email windown. HELP! :-) |
