Default Contacts show blank under Contacts\Address Book button

I have search and tried a number of fixes. Recreated profile...removed and
readded outlook address book, Re-installed Outlook etc...nada

I am running Outlook 2003 in an Exchange environment. If I click on my
contacts folder and add a new contact...it saves fine. When I click the
address book option, select contacts and try to find the new entry...it is
not there. If I go back and click the contacts folder it is in there. On a
different machine...different profile...the persons contacts is blank when
you select it from the address book button. If you click the contacts folder
there are entries in there. Anyone have an idea of what's going on?

Anyone? This problem is a pain. Outlook 2003 sp3. I have Removed the OAB
opened outlook. Then closed it again and re-added. No change. I have created
a completely new profile...no change. I created a PAB..added some entires to
it and then imported them into contacts. This works fine I can see them when
clicking the address book and selecting contacts. If I create a new entry in
Contacts though..it does not show up. If anyone has any info Iwould
appreciate it.
