Default outlook contacts lost?

At my previous employment, I selected all of my Outlook contacts and dragged
them into an e-mail, creating an attachment for each person. I then e-mailed
it to my new workplace. When I arrived, I was less-than-pleased to realize
the contacts were saved as msg files and when I click on the file, it opens
up a blank e-mail with the contact name as the subject line. Is there any way
to recover my contacts from those files?

Did your previous company give you permission to take these email addresses
with you? If not then you have broken the law.

Default outlook contacts lost?

probably not.... are you using the same version of outlook at the new
workplace?

also - unless you had permission to forward them you could be in violation
of laws or employment contracts.
