Default synchonise folders other than contacts

In my contacts I have grouped into subfolders family, friends as well as
business contacts. How can I get activesync to synchronise with all the
folders rather than just the root, So I can see all my contacts on the PDA.

Not an Outlook question. Ask in a group that supports your sync software.
Most only sync the root folder.

Use a single folder, the primary Contacts folder, and to separate your
Contacts, use Categories.

We changed from single folder so that private contacts would not then be
shared amongst the whole team. This has only become a problem since our PDAs
and phones became one.

So prompted by your message, I have discovered and tested that if a contact
is labled as private then the sharers cannot see it.

Thank you!!
