There is no address book in Outlook.
All Outlook data resides in one file. The file you need is your Personal Folders file (*.pst) It's where all the mail, calendar, contacts etc are stored. Take a look at these pages for info on Outlook data backup or transfer: http://www.slipstick.com/config/backup.htm http://www.howto-outlook.com/Howto/backupandrestore.htm http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/as...771141033.aspx -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "KFM" wrote in message ... Russ,
I'm not sure you're right. I am having exactly the same problem as this poster (I think), and in Outlook 2002 it looks like there IS an Address Book file. The links you've provided seem to related to Outlook 2003. Can you offer any suggestions for how someone using Outlook from Office XP (2002) might reoslve this problem? In all versions of Outlook, the address book is simply a view of the
electronic addresses that reside in the Contacts Folder. It contains no data. It does not exist as a separate file. I'm happy to entertain your notion that indicates otherwise. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "stuart" wrote in message ... Russ, I'm not sure you're right.
