Default notes portion of a contacts page to calendar

Is it possible to have the "notes portion" of a contacts information page
added to a future scheduling on your calendar in Outlook? Or is there some
other place I should be keeping my notes with customers so that I can better
access them. I use my calendar to schedule calls, and when I look at the
scheduled appointment I would like to be looking at the history I have with
the client. Instead I am currently opening the appointment - then locating
the contact in my contacts folder, and then going to the notes to review
where I am with that particular client.

Please help!!

What version of Outlook? Reason I ask is that you can link activities to
contacts and view your history that way. However, you cannot add contact
notes to a calendar item unless you do it manually. You can also link
contacts to the calendar items so when you click on the Contacts button,
that contact appears - you can then click on the Activities Tab (or the
button in Outlook 2007) to see your interactions.
