Is it possible to recover a distribution list deleted in error?
"Undo" button is not available. Any other suggestions?
If not is there an option to set an "are you sure you want to delet this
list" option that I can activate?

There is no option. If this was a DL in your contacts, its in your Deleted
items folder unless you used shift+del.

I don't find my deleted distribution list in my deleted items folder. Any
other ideas? I didn't use shift-delete

Do you use Exchange server and if so, is Deleted item recovery enabled? That
is the only way you'll be able to recover it, if it is not in the Deleted
items folder. Unless you have a backup copy.

Did you empty the deleted items folder since deleting it? If not, add the
modified date field to the deleted items folder and sort by it. I really
think its there, you just can't find it for two reasons- its in the deleted
folder based on the date you created it and the DL name is the subject (and
on the second line) and not easily visible. I just tested it with one of
my DL's - it went straight to the deleted items folder. I created it in
2004, so its at the very end of the list and I overlooked it when I first
scrolled down because my name is more prominent than the DL name.

Diane,

Thanks so much! I found it by using the search box. I had done this a
couple of times, but my daughter pointed out that it could be case sensitive
and it was!

Whew!! Disaster averted!!
