there is a symbol in the contact icon for only a few of my contacts. It
looks like a tiny clock, but it's so small I can't tell. It only shows up on a few of my contacts and I can't tell any difference between them and the "normal" icon contacts. |

I think that means the Journal is turned on for those Contacts. Check the
Journal settings. Tools, Options Journal. PLEASE post at least your version when you have a question. I am using Outlook 2003. You are exactly correct, it is the Journal that
