I have made some changes to the contact card template in Outlook, and I want
to save it and either make it the default or make it an option when I upload new contacts into outlook. This is a dance studio contact database, and we are switching to Outlook, and I am trying to avoid creating the entire database from scrath. Or, importing them as is, then changing/editing every single contact card through 'design form'. Anyone get what I am trying to do and have an answer for me? Thanks! |

I understand your question. If you want an answer, you should post in the
programming group where such issues are discussed. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "racjstevens" wrote in message news ![]() I have made some changes to the contact card template in Outlook, and I want to save it and either make it the default or make it an option when I upload new contacts into outlook. You need to publish it as a custom form and then set it as the default form.
See http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner/publish_form.htm to change existing items to the new form: http://www.outlook-tips.net/archives/2004/20040525.htm -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Outlook Tips by email: EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: You can access this newsgroup by visiting http://www.microsoft.com/office/comm...s/default.mspx or point your newsreader to msnews.microsoft.com.
