Default Contacts on 2nd Hard Drive

My hard drive became unbootable, so put in another one with Windows XP &
Outlook 2003 reinstalled - trying to import my contacts/address book from the
previous hard drive (can access data, not bootable), but had never backed up
as the help says to move to another computer. I can't seem to locate the
right files to do manually - Help!
Thanks, Jeanette

Default Contacts on 2nd Hard Drive

Posted here daily. When you read this information, make sure you understand
that you would never use importing for this task unless you have some need
to alter or lose your data.
The file you need is your Personal Folders file (*.pst) It's where all the
mail, calendar, contacts etc are stored.

Take a look at these pages for info on Outlook data backup or transfer:

Did you try to regenerate the boot record? That can often make the disk
bootable again.
