When I receive emails with alot of address/contacts on them, say chain mail,
my address book imports any unkown address from that email to my contacts. The thing is, I don't want the address of my friend's mom's long lost sister. Does anyone know how to stop this automatic importation? Thanks Reece |

First, Outlook doesn't have an Address Book. It uses your Contacts folders. Second, it doesn't add addresses to COntacts automatically. It can't. Please describe what your're doing, Outlook's version, and why you think Outlook is behaving this way. Be precise in describing where you see these addresses that you think were added. -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook] |

Only Outlook 98 and 2000 Internet Mail Only mode have this option (both are
hopelessly out of date) and you would need to enable this on purpose. However, Outlook Express does have this option - what program are you using? Outlook or Outlook Express? -- Milly Staples [MVP - Outlook] Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact.
