Hi there,
I always find difficult to change the sorting/displaying of the contact from first name (the default I guess) to last name. When I succeed in setting that, I have the feeling that the displayed names of the contact are changed only for the new added contacts. Have you got a hint ? Best regards |

That's the way it works. Settings only apply to new Contacts. You'd have to
run code to change the fields for existing Contacts. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "Oriane" wrote in message ... I am having the same problem, with my existing (imported) contacts AND with
new ones. If you have cured this please do let me know. "Oriane" wrote: Hi Russ, "Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook]" a crit dans le message de ... That's the way it works. State the problem you are having since it is not the same at all. Settings
will never apply to Contacts you import. They will apply to new ones you create. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "Donna" wrote in message ...
