Default Contact display name is showing as a unc path

But not all the time. When it is showing as a unc path, the email address is
rejected. yet when it is showing properly in the Outlook properties it
works. It is also only one user that this is happenig with. Other
informaiton is it is Outlook 2007 on a VISTA machine and they are in our
department. Has anyone else seen this issue? Did you find a way to fix it?

Are you using Exchange? Are you sure it's a UNC and not an X.500 address?

Yes we are using an exchange server
And now that you mention that it is an X.500 address. (DOH!) I remember
seeing it before but the the person who fixed it is no longer here. Any
advice or suggestions?

That's an Active Directory setting. There should be a place in AD to enter
an SMTP address for the person.
