One of my users is asking to let him know how to reset a password of contact
file (.pst) in outlook.
He did set a password in his contact file (.pst) long time ago. and he
didnot have been using outlook for a while.
Few month later, when he want to look into contact info of that .pst, he
realized that he did set a password.
However, unfortunately, he wasnot able to recall what he set as password on
that.
so he want to reset that password of .pst file if he can.
Would you somebody let me know how to reset this password of .pst file in
outlook ?
Or at least, we want to extract all contact information from that .pst file
to other format if it is possible.

Is the PST an ANSI or a Unicode PST? If the former, there are a couple of
free PST password removers that Google can find for you. If the latter, I
think you'll need to purchase one. I don't know of any freeware PST
password strippers for Unicode PSTs.
