Default Export single catagory from Outlook 2007 to an Excel file

Is it possible to export only one catagory from Outlook 2007 instead of our
entire contact list? We have a large shared contact list and some entries
have several catagories. If the catagory I need isn't listed first, sorting
the Excel list doesn't work. Exporting a single catagory would make things
much easier.

You can either copy the contacts to another (empty) folder, and export then,
or group the view by categories, select eacg contact of the category you're
looking for, copy, and insert into the Excel workbook.

along with Michael's suggestions, use filters and filter for the category
in Excel rather than typing to sort.
