How did you install Outlook 2007? Was this an upgrade from a prior version?
Did you migrate your version from another computer? Did you use the Windows Easy Transfer? Most common problems occur due to a corrupt profile. Try creating a new one under Control Panel-Mail Icon-profiles-new. Do not copy the old. Create a new and associate it with your Outlook Data File. -- Milly Staples [MVP - Outlook] Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. ALWAYS post your Outlook version. Thanks Milly. This is a new computer that I installed Outlook 2007. I did
use Windows Easy Transfer to transfer from Outlook 2003 from my old computer. I am sorry to say that I do not see the Mail Icon in the Control Panel. Should you see it from the Classic View? Can you give me some more information? Thanks! Rick "Milly Staples [MVP - Outlook]" wrote: How did you install Outlook 2007? Was this an upgrade from a prior version? I have this exact issue... no mail icon in classic view on control panel. I
installed the same way as well. Upgraded to 2007 on my new computer and transfered with easy transfer from my old computer and office 03. I have Vista 64 bit. "Shafer92" wrote: Thanks Milly. OK... thank you! Found the mail icon. Now how do I set up a new profile and
get everything attached to that without dorking that up? "Gordon" wrote: "Debbie" wrote in message ... I have this exact issue... no mail icon in classic view on control panel.
