How did you install Outlook 2007? Was this an upgrade from a prior version?
Did you migrate your version from another computer? Did you use the Windows
Easy Transfer?

Most common problems occur due to a corrupt profile. Try creating a new one
under Control Panel-Mail Icon-profiles-new. Do not copy the old. Create
a new and associate it with your Outlook Data File.

Thanks Milly. This is a new computer that I installed Outlook 2007. I did
use Windows Easy Transfer to transfer from Outlook 2003 from my old computer.

I am sorry to say that I do not see the Mail Icon in the Control Panel.
Should you see it from the Classic View? Can you give me some more
information?

Thanks!
Rick

I have this exact issue... no mail icon in classic view on control panel. I
installed the same way as well. Upgraded to 2007 on my new computer and
transfered with easy transfer from my old computer and office 03. I have
Vista 64 bit.

I think it's under the 32bit link? (I haven't used 64bit, so the terminology
may be inaccurate....)

OK... thank you! Found the mail icon. Now how do I set up a new profile and
get everything attached to that without dorking that up?
