Default Recurring meeting update issue

Environment:
Exchange 2003 SP2
Outlook 2002 SP2
BES 4.0 SP2

I have a strange issue where all day events are now being displayed as
meeting requests in the Day/Week/Month view, i.e the all day event is now
being displayed with a meeting icon i.e. face

any ideas whats caused this ?
