I currently have permission to view and edit my boss's contacts in Outlook
2007. When I was originally editing her contacts I was able to create categories and edit them. However, now when I go to categorize one of her contacts all the categories I created are gone and when I go to edit the list, all the edit options are grayed out and I can't make any changes. However, she hasn't changed any of her permissions. When I go to my own contact list, all the categories I created are available and editable. Any and all advice would be much welcome. |

![]() You can't edit her master category list. But adding new categories should be possible; for that you need full permission to her calendar as that's the place where the master category list is stored for OL07 users. -- Best regards Michael Bauer - MVP Outlook : Outlook Categories? Dear Michael,
I already have full permission to edit and was able to add categories in the past. I'm trying to figure out what may have changed without her changing her settings. Any thoughts? ![]() Yes, by far this wouldn't be the first time that someone is very sure, "I have nothing changed"... :-) -- Best regards Michael Bauer - MVP Outlook : Outlook Categories?
