Default Lost link between Contacts and New Message To, CC, Bcc etc

I had to reinstall Outlook 2003. I exported contacts and email to .pst file.
I reinstalled Outlook and imported the .pst files. Now when I create a New
Message, clicking the To... or Cc... buttons opens up the Select Names dialog
box, but there is nothing in it. I've reinstalled Outlook in the past without
this problem but.....

What do I need to do to establish that link?

Why would you use export and import with a native data file? It is never the
correct way to transfer Outlook data.
You also apparently forgot to configure your Outlook Address Book. Do so.
