Default Trouble creating new distribution list

I've never had a problem creating distribution lists, but today I can't. Each
time I try to save a new distribution list, I get the message:
Microsoft Outlook - Folder is full.

I tried restarting Outlook, rebooting the computer, archiving... nothing
works. Any ideas?

I'm using 2003.

Thanks.

How many contacts do you have in your Contacts folder currently?

It's a POP/SMTP account.

Hmmm, Outlook should allow for at least 16384 contacts/dist lists in the
Contacts folder. Just to be sure, how many contact-type folders do you have?

THanks, Vince.
I just the one contacts folder. However, I do have multiple distribution
lists made up of various combinations of those addresses. Including the
entries in each distribution list, there would still be fewer than 800
entries.

If you delete one dist list can you create another one (as a test)? Also,
it's a long shot but try running ScanPST.EXE on your PST file to see if it's
damaged.

One more thing... what's the size of your PST file?

PST file is 765,841 kb. I'll try the other suggestions now.

Thank you, Vince.

Deleting an old distribution list seems to have done the trick. I was able
to create the new one.

Thanks again.
