Hi everyone. Currently, Outlook immediately deletes contacts, when I
click on the deletion icon or press the "delete" key on my keyboard. *** Question: Is there a way to make Outlook request a pop-up confirmation (yes/no/cancel) as a safety measure ? The current behaviour really is unsafe. *** (PS: Please don't suggest "verifying the deleted items" as solution, because it isn't one. Retrieving contacts from the deleted items helps, when you were *aware* of your deletion. But when you delete a contact item accidentally (and thus are *unaware* of the deletion), you are equally unaware of the fact that you would have to retrieve anything from the deleted items. And I can't check my deleted items on a regular basis either, because that would be too time-consuming. Please don't consider this as rude, but PLEASE, PLEASE don't talk about the "deleted items" folder in your response, because this strategy would not help me at all). Many thanks in advance for your help. |
