I have a user whos just complained that the All Groups location isn't showing
her any groups like it has in the past. I don't know if she's just discovered this location or if she has indeed, in the past used this to see Distribution Lists. She is running MSOffice 2003 and so I thought I'd have a look on my o2k7 and I see the same thing she does - everything I see in the GAL only it filters out all the Distribution Lists. Can anyone explain the purpose of the "All Groups" folder and if "Groups" are synonymous with "Distribution Lists" then how to configure "All Groups" so that it only shows objects of type "Distribution List"? Thanks much |

You'll want to post this in an Exchange Group. This isn't an end user
Outlook client issue. How the GAL and AD are configured and what they contain are Exchange issues. Be sure to include your Exchange version when you post. -- Russ Valentine "MarshMan" wrote in message ... Are your DLs stored in your local Contacts folder or in the GAL or Active
Directory? All Groups shows groups created on the server, not in user's Contacts. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com/ Outlook Tips by email: EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: Do you keep Outlook open 24/7?
