Default Allow formatting changes to incoming e-mail.

It would be helpful to be able to add formatting, such as highlighting and
font colors, to incoming email so we can highlight important information.

I suppose I could forward the mail to myself and make those changes, but it
would be nice to just change the formatting in the same way that we can now
change the Subject line.

Default Allow formatting changes to incoming e-mail.

You can already do that. For an HTML-format message, open it, then choose Edit | Edit Message.
