Default Outlook 2007 Beta 2 has wrong format for IPM.Contact

In Outlook 2007 beta 2, if I try to customize a contact form, the template
IPM.Contact form that appears is the old Outlook 2000/2002 form. Microsoft
forgot to update this for Outlook 2003, and now it looks like it hasn't
incorporated the Outlook 2007 changes either.

It causes great user confusion if I make a minor tweak to the Contact form
that isn't even supposed to be user visible, and as a result users see a
completely different form layout.

Microsoft, please update the custom IPM.Contact template before Outlook 2007
is finalized!

That won't happen. Why? Because Outlook 2007 introduces a new method of modifying forms -- custom form regions -- that provides more flexibility, a nearly complete set of controls for duplicating the look of existing forms on custom pages, a possible end to forms cache problems, and other pluses for developers of Outlook add-ins. I've posted a short getting started exercise at http://turtleflock-ol2007.spaces.msn...E3D8!144.entry, and more information is available on Ryan Gregs's blog at http://blogs.msdn.com/rgregg/

OK, at least there's a way. I'll follow the pointers you referred me to.
Thanks!
