Hi, I would like to know what is the maximum allowed size for a task/form?
Some of our users are experiencing loss of information when a task reaches a certain size (~ 20MB +). Some peviously inserted emails become corrupted and cannot be opened anymore. The error message they are getting is "One or more parameters are incorrect." Thanks |

A form is just a UI/code template. I can't imagine a single form being 20MB.
Maybe you're talking about an item reaching that size? There definitely is a size limit of 32kb for all data other than the item body and any attachments. Once you reach that, the item may start exhibiting all kinds of odd behaviors. You can look up the error message you're getting in the Microsoft Knowledge Base at http://support.microsoft.com -- Sue Mosher, Outlook MVP Author of Configuring Microsoft Outlook 2003 http://www.turtleflock.com/olconfig/index.htm and Microsoft Outlook Programming - Jumpstart for Administrators, Power Users, and Developers http://www.outlookcode.com/jumpstart.aspx "J-P Beaudoin" wrote in message ... Thanks Sue.
Yes, I am referring to the size an item, not the form itself. We usually insert many emails inside a task (Insert Element) and sometimes it can get pretty big (20+ MB). At some unknown size, elements inside the task can become corrupted and cannot be opened anymore. It's easy to spot them as the Message icon inside de task is replaced by the generic Windows document icon. I'm looking for the SIZE over which an item begins corrupting elements inside it. I searched everywhere in MSDN and couldn't find the answer. "Sue Mosher [MVP-Outlook]" wrote: A form is just a UI/code template. I can't imagine a single form being 20MB. Yours would seem to be is a very rare scenario. There is no documentation that speaks to it. You might want to file a support incident with Microsoft. They may never have seen this one before.
