Default Canoot Open form. Have to hit "forward message,

We use several forms in our company. When a form is sent via email, We
cannot open open it unless we forward the email and then open it from the
forwarded email. ( we do not need to actually send the forwarded email)

We are using Outlook 2003.
This is not an issue on outlook 2000
Any ideas?

The User opens the form and imputs necessary data. When complete, the user
selects "save and send" This attaches the form to an email and saves the
form in a publick folder. The users then sends the email to the relevant
colleague. When that person opens the email, he/she tries to open the
attachment by double clicking. In Outlook 2003, nothing happens.
The workaround is to hit forward, then open the attachment.

Does this make sense?

All the details, please. How, precisely, does the user open the form? What exactly is being attached to the message -- an Outlook item? (Forms are code/UI templates. They contain no data. Items are what contain data.)
