We have a number of oft files (templates) that we use for form filling and
emailing within the business. recently on one user only, whenever she double
clicks any oft file it just opens an email message with the oft file as an
attachment. I cant even click the attachment to open it as it just creates
another email with attachment.

I have had the user log into another machine and it happens there, so it
must be specific to her outlook profile and not to the computer she is
working on.

Has anyone come across this problem before, and more importantly have they
found a viable fix to the problem?

Have you checked the file type association for .oft files?
