I'm looking to confirm or disprove something. It seems that in Outlook
2007, even though you can use the form designer to design existing
regions or create new ones, you cannot create event handlers for the
forms or for the controls on the forms in the VBA editor. If this is
the case then all customization that requires more than just dropping a
control on a form must be done using VSTO.

Is this correct, or am I missing something? If you can wire up events
to forms and controls please point me to an example of how this is
done.

You can either create legacy custom forms that handle events in VBScript code behind a published form or use form regions, a feature new in Outlook 2007, and handle control events in an add-in built with VSTO or another development environment. VBA is never an option.
