Default Missing tabs in Custom Outlook Form

I just installed Office 2007 last week and today modified a form and saved it
to my Personal forms library. Now when I open the form to view the changes
the the tabs are not visible. I closed the ribbon but the tabs are still not
visible even though in Design Mode they are set to "Display this Page". Any
help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Default Missing tabs in Custom Outlook Form

What type of form -- message, contact? You didn't check the Send Form Definition with Item box on the (Properties) page, did you? What steps are you using to "open the form"?

Default Missing tabs in Custom Outlook Form

It is a message form and the "Send Form Definition" option is checked but I
didn't set that. To open the form I'm going to Tools, Forms, Choose a Form,
and selecting the form from my Personal Forms Library.

Never check the "Send Form Definition" box. In recent versions, you'll lose most of the form's functionality.

Furthermore, a custom message form isn't going to be very useful unless it's for internal use and you can publish it to the Organizational Forms library on Exchange.

Sue,

I turned off the "Send Form Definition" option and republished but the
form's tabs are still not visible when opening it in Outlook 2007. They are
visible if opening in Outlook 2003. Is is possible to send you a screen shot?
Thanks.

Jeff

Did you clear the forms cache on the affected machine? Check version number the About This Form dialog?

After playing around with this some more, I found that after opening the form
in Outlook 2007, you have to click the "Show" button on the ribbon and then
select the individual form you want from there. Issue resolved. Thanks for
all your help!

Thanks for sharing the resoluton of the problem. That's a good one for us all to remember: that Outlook 2007 doesn't show tabs for custom forms, but puts each page name in the Show group.
