I just installed Office 2007 last week and today modified a form and saved it
to my Personal forms library. Now when I open the form to view the changes the the tabs are not visible. I closed the ribbon but the tabs are still not visible even though in Design Mode they are set to "Display this Page". Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Jeff |

What type of form -- message, contact? You didn't check the Send Form Definition with Item box on the (Properties) page, did you? What steps are you using to "open the form"?

It is a message form and the "Send Form Definition" option is checked but I
didn't set that. To open the form I'm going to Tools, Forms, Choose a Form, and selecting the form from my Personal Forms Library. Never check the "Send Form Definition" box. In recent versions, you'll lose most of the form's functionality.
Furthermore, a custom message form isn't going to be very useful unless it's for internal use and you can publish it to the Organizational Forms library on Exchange. -- Sue Mosher, Outlook MVP Author of Configuring Microsoft Outlook 2003 http://www.turtleflock.com/olconfig/index.htm and Microsoft Outlook Programming - Jumpstart for Administrators, Power Users, and Developers http://www.outlookcode.com/jumpstart.aspx "Jeff R" wrote in message ... Yes, this is a form used internally and is published in the Org forms library
but I was just making a modification and testing before republishing. "Sue Mosher [MVP-Outlook]" wrote: Never check the "Send Form Definition" box.
