I have had a custom form running throughout the company for about 6
months now, which basically has some additional required fields which edit a hyperlink in the email body. The forms are published to our exchange server, and run on outlook 2003. They have a custom read page which displays the custom fields. Up until last week the read page would work fine when viewing the email in sent items, however something has now changed which is causing the email to open with the default outlook form instead of the custom one in sent items now. I am not sending form definition with the email. What has caused this to change? the form itself has not changed for months! Please Help! Ben. |

Did you recently install Office 2003 SP2? Is the item arriving with the correct message class?

SP2 is installed, but has been since well before the problem arose.
The item is not arriving with the correct class either. Thanks for the speedy response! |

If the message is not arriving with the correct message class, the most likely explanation is that something has happened to one-off the form. I would suggest checking the design again to make sure the "send form definition" box is still unchecked.
If this is happening only to one user, then clearing the forms cache would be a good idea. -- Sue Mosher, Outlook MVP Author of Configuring Microsoft Outlook 2003 http://www.turtleflock.com/olconfig/index.htm and Microsoft Outlook Programming - Jumpstart for Administrators, Power Users, and Developers http://www.outlookcode.com/jumpstart.aspx wrote in message oups.com...
