Default Can I erase my signature from "Message" field

When I started making my form, automatic signature was on. Now my Message
field contains +/- 20 signatures in the form, so also in every document.
As this is shown as _DocSiteControl1, with limited (Advanced)Properties
available, I cannot find how to erase the signatures in the form.
My next-best option is to rebuild the form now that I've turned off
signature, but I'd like to avoid that...

Run the form to create a new item. Remove the signatures. Publish the edited item as a new version of the form.
