I have inherited an Outlook form that is used to initiate a new employee
request. The form was updated in Outlook 2003; I don't know the version it was developed in. The form has always been emailed to the requester, who fills in various text boxes and sends to the predefined addressee. The issue is that since the form has been updated (a third tab was added with additional text boxes), some users are able to open the form while others cannot. I have one user with the same OS and Office version as the desktop the form was updated on; however, he receives an error message. On the other hand, if he saves the .oft locally, it will open without problem. Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated. -- Sandy |

..oft? That's probably the source of the problem. For it to work properly, the form needs to be published to the Organizational Forms library -- and only that version used.
You also should always include details of any errors when posting about a problem. -- Sue Mosher, Outlook MVP Author of Microsoft Outlook 2007 Programming: Jumpstart for Power Users and Administrators http://www.outlookcode.com/article.aspx?id=54 "SandyT" wrote in message ...
