Novice here. How do I view the realtime 'Read Page' when editing? Like,
if I wanted to see the Compose Page, I would do Run This Form. How do I do the same for the Read Page? FYI, I am editing the form on a computer without Internet connection so I can't send the form to myself. Thanks Terry |

On the Forms menu, if you have used the split forms option, you can select which of the send or read page to view in the development pane. The trick to designing forms with split read and send pages, is to design the elements that you want see on both forms before you split the design into read and send pages. This guarantees that the controls on the read page will show what was entered on the send page. Make sure that you always send using rtf format to be sure that you are using the TNEF wrapper, or your user defined field data will not be sent. Hollis D. Paul [MVP - Outlook] Mukilteo, WA USA |

I see no option for 'split forms' in the Forms menu (before or after
clicking Design This Form). Is this an addin of some kind? I'm using Outlook 2000. |

Unless you can at least send a message form, you cannot see the runtime version of its Read page, only the design version.
FWIW, I can't imagine building Outlook forms in an environment where you can't send email tests. -- Sue Mosher, Outlook MVP Author of Configuring Microsoft Outlook 2003 http://www.turtleflock.com/olconfig/index.htm and Microsoft Outlook Programming - Jumpstart for Administrators, Power Users, and Developers http://www.outlookcode.com/jumpstart.aspx "Teelions" wrote in message oups.com...
